  • Figs 1000g
  • Sugar 250g
  • Lemon Juice 60ml
  • WATER 120ml
  • Lemon Peel Two or three (depending on personal preference)

  1. Wash fresh figs and set aside

  3. Pour all ingredients into a pot, bring to a boil over high heat, turn to medium-low heat and simmer slowly.

  5. When it simmers and thickens, it's ready. Turn off the heat and cool down.

  6. Remove the lemon zest if you mind. Then it's ready to be enjoyed slowly in clean glass jars. It can usually be refrigerated for about three months.
