6 Months Old Baby Melt (Air Fryer Version)
Ingredients
- Yolk 2 Eggs
- Milk Powder 2½ scoops
- Lemon Juice A small slice
Instructions
-
Separate 2 egg yolks with a separator
-
Drizzle with lemon juice and beat with a whisk on low speed for 10 minutes.
The internet says it's good if you can beat it until it turns white and draws 8's that don't disappear easily. I didn't care, I just beat as hard as I could.
(Note, this step must be hit enough time. I've flipped 3 pots before, and the root cause was that I didn't hit it hard enough)
I use this whisk, two of them are plugged in and beat together. -
Put in 2 1/2 tablespoons of powdered milk and mix well.
I got a creamy texture after mixing.
It came out a little snoozy to me, I don't know if this is the wrong step. -
Put it into a laminating bag. At this time I turn on the air fryer, 100 degrees, preheat for 5 minutes.
I use the one from Midea, there is a picture later. -
The paper plate of the air fryer tends to fly, so I just use a spoon to press it down.
Cut a small opening in the laminating bag and squeeze a little bit. -
Put into the air fryer, first 80-90 degrees test 15 minutes to set.
I feel that it is better not to open and look at this step, otherwise it will be a bit deflated once it enters the cold air. -
Bake at 100 degrees for another 50 minutes.
Every air fryer is different, gotta keep trying. Before I baked it for 30 minutes like people said and it didn't work inside at all -
This is the finished product when I was done. The look may not have been set right when I was shaping it, there were some flyers and ones that were joined together.
